Embossing Fun

I recently found a Paper Source store near our new home.  I love this store.  I came home with embossing powder, a hand held embossing heater and some new stamps.  I'm having tons of fun creating new cards and getting some good ideas for upcoming baby announcements.  I love that both rubber and acrylic stamps work great with this technique.

New Home for a beautiful Kid Collage

A client of mine, who ordered a poster of her daughter's preschool artwork, sent me this photo today of the collage framed and hanging in their home.  So happy to see this creation has found a beautiful spot in their lives.

zoo snugggles

Today Joe and I explored our local zoo.  What a treat to drive 15 minutes and be up on a forest mountain zoo...thanks to my sweet husband for buying us a year pass to the Oregon Zoo. Here are some of our favorites we saw today....snuggling on a chilly January morning.

exploring our new terrain....familiar territory.

It is quite an adjustment to move to the big city for us Beamans.  Today, Joe and I, drove through the nearby countryside to Daddy's work for lunch.  On the way home Joe asked to stop and play in the vineyards.  Here are a few shots I snapped on our way home.....a little bit of Napa Home here in Portland.
